Celebrating a Successful First Annual Liam Butler Memorial Golf Tournament
Posted Aug 6th, 2025
On Saturday, June 7, 2025, we had the privilege of hosting the First Annual Liam Butler Memorial Golf Tournament at Southbrook Golf Club. What a truly remarkable day it was, filled with camaraderie, celebration, and the spirit of giving.
Honouring Liam’s Legacy
The tournament was created to honour the life and legacy of Liam Butler, who we tragically lost at the age of ten. Liam’s bright spirit, joy, and enthusiasm for life continue to inspire us, and this event was a beautiful way to celebrate him while supporting a cause close to our hearts.
Making a Difference: How Much We Raised
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, participants, and supporters, we are thrilled to share that we raised $20,000 for Holland Bloorview Rehabilitation Hospital. This donation was made directly to their music therapy department and will help children thrive, just as Liam did, and provide essential resources, care, and support to families in need.
Highlights from the Tournament
From the exciting rounds of golf to the smiles shared over dinner, the day was a wonderful reminder of the power of community and giving back. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors; your support made this event possible.
Capturing the Moments
We invite you to enjoy some of the highlights from the tournament below. Each picture captures the joy, friendship, and spirit of Liam that filled the day.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, participated, and helped make the First Annual Liam Butler Memorial Golf Tournament a resounding success. Liam’s light continues to shine through the generosity and kindness of all who came together to honour his memory. We can’t wait to see you all next year for the Second Annual Liam Butler Memorial Golf Tournament!
